Pixar has filed notice that it plans to cut 108 jobs at its Emeryville, California headquarters, using corporate letterhead featuring Mrs Incredible. The document was submitted to state officials rather than sent directly to staff, but the branding drew attention because it accompanied significant redundancies at the animation studio.

Most affected employees are expected to leave on 26 September, with creative roles among those affected, including 23 technical directors and nine story artists. The cuts are part of a wider Disney restructuring expected to affect more than 1,000 employees across the company.
