Plain White T’s have released a new version of their 2006 hit ‘Hey There Delilah’ featuring Canadian singer LØLØ. The update gives Delilah a vocal presence and presents the song’s relationship as mutual, rather than solely from the original narrator’s perspective.
The original track appeared on the album ‘Every Second Counts’ and has since achieved four-times platinum certification in the US and three-times platinum in the UK. It has been streamed nearly 1.5 billion times on Spotify, while its video has received 142 million views; Plain White T’s last album arrived in 2023, and LØLØ released her latest album earlier this year.
