Plaud One earbuds record and transcribe meetings without smartphones
Plaud has unveiled the Plaud One, LTE-enabled earbuds designed to record and transcribe in-person and online conversations without needing a smartphone. The device reflects a different approach to AI wearables, focusing on meeting capture, summaries and follow-up tasks rather than trying to replace the phone altogether.
LTE connectivity is built into the charging case, which can connect in more than 80 countries and regions without a separate mobile contract; storage supports up to 30 hours of recordings. Plaud says its AI assistant can create reports and follow-ups and work with Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion and Slack, while the earbuds also offer active noise cancellation, IP54 protection and claimed battery life of up to six hours for music or around four hours for calls.
