Helldivers 2 is an online co-operative action game in which up to four players work together on missions against alien enemies. Players are members of the Helldivers, a fictional military force sent by the human-led state of Super Earth to fight wars across space.
The game was made by Swedish developer Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It launched in 2024 for PlayStation 5 and PC, and is built around players completing objectives together while dealing with friendly fire and large numbers of enemies.
