PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers ship on November 12 for $220
Developing story first seen 1 hour ago
Sony has confirmed that its Pulse Elevate desktop gaming speakers will begin shipping on 12 November, priced at $220, with pre-orders opening on 1 September via PlayStation Direct and third-party retailers — nearly a year after the product was first unveiled. The launch marks the latest expansion of Sony's PlayStation audio accessory lineup, giving PS5 owners a dedicated desktop speaker option alongside its existing headset range.
The speakers use planar magnetic drivers, which Sony says deliver near-perfect sound accuracy across the audible spectrum, along with woofers and a noise-suppressing microphone. They support Tempest 3D AudioTech spatial audio and low-latency PlayStation Link connectivity via a bundled USB-C adaptor, and can connect to a PS5, PlayStation Portal, PC or Mac, or function as tiltable Bluetooth speakers with multipoint pairing; settings can be customised through a PS5 or PC. They will come in white and Midnight (black) to match other PlayStation accessories, though Sony has yet to disclose full technical specifications or battery life beyond saying they will play audio for "hours".
