The Astro Bot build reportedly comprises 276 pieces, stands 8 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide, and includes a jumping pose stand along with poseable joints and swappable expressions. It follows last week's official unveiling of the Lego PlayStation itself, a near 1:1 scale replica of the original console with 1,911 pieces, priced at $179.99 and featuring an "Open" button revealing dioramas from Ape Escape and Gran Turismo. The news lands amid a run of controversies for Sony, including its plan to end physical PlayStation disc production, reports that it tried to cancel Kojima Studios' Physint before Xbox picked it up, and criticism over layoffs affecting the Destiny team.
