Toy manufacturer Ravensburger has opened preorders for a giant Pokémon-themed jigsaw puzzle containing 40,320 pieces, priced at $729.99. The company describes it as one of the largest officially licensed puzzles ever produced, and it marks one of the more unusual collectibles released to mark Pokémon's ongoing anniversary celebrations, aimed at dedicated fans and puzzle enthusiasts willing to take on a lengthy assembly project.

The puzzle is split into ten separate 4,000-piece sections, each depicting a different Pokémon alongside a notable location from the franchise, which can be completed individually before being combined into one giant image. Once fully assembled, the finished puzzle measures roughly 6.8 metres long by 1.92 metres high (about 22.3ft by 6.3ft), and Ravensburger recommends it for ages 14 and up. It is due for release on 7 October 2026, and is not the record-holder for size, as Guinness World Records lists a 551,232-piece puzzle as the largest ever completed, while a 60,000-piece Dowdle puzzle is the biggest currently available to buy.
