Polaroid Mod instant camera adds four in-camera creative effects
Polaroid has announced the Mod, an instant camera designed to offer more creative effects in-camera. It is launching globally for $169.99 through Polaroid’s online store, with availability at other US retailers from 6 October.
A dial around the lens selects four modes: Double Exposure layers two shots, Split Shot divides the image into halves, Light Painting records light trails during a long exposure, and Motion Freeze combines motion trails with a flash-sharp image. The camera works with colour or black-and-white i-Type and 600 film, and its 750mAh battery can shoot up to 15 packs, or 120 exposures. It has interchangeable 103mm standard and 95mm portrait lenses.
