Police launch search after teenage brother and sister take their parents’ car and run away
Police have launched an urgent search for two "extremely vulnerable" siblings from Buckinghamshire after they took a family member's car and disappeared. Mukarma, 16, and her 14-year-old brother Muhammed left in the early hours of Monday in a white Toyota Prius, and officers say concern is mounting given their ages, the time they have been missing, and the possibility that they are driving without a licence.
The car, registration KR10 NTF, was last seen on the A40 Oxford Road in Gerrards Cross heading towards Beaconsfield, with no further camera sightings since and no contact from either teenager. Muhammed is 5ft 9in with a slim build, shoulder-length black hair and glasses, while Mukarma is 5ft 3in with a slim build and long, dark wavy hair often worn in braids, may be wearing a Hijab, and has a dimple on one side of her face. Detective Sergeant Gary Walker described it as a "critical time" in the investigation and appealed for anyone who may have offered the pair help or accommodation to come forward, urging witnesses to call 999 quoting reference CAD 2117/17AUG, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The siblings are from Buckinghamshire, where they live with their family. Police say the teenagers left in a family member’s car in the early hours of Monday and have not been in contact since.
Because they are 16 and 14, police are concerned for their safety and say the younger sibling may be driving without a licence. Officers are trying to trace the pair and the white Toyota Prius they were travelling in, and want to hear from anyone who may know where they are or have helped them.
