Popular Country Music Festival Is Leaving Its Longtime Home After This Year

American Songwriter · 14 hours ago

The Voices of America Country Music Festival will leave West Chester Township, Ohio after its 2026 edition, ending a run that began in 2023. Organisers say the festival will continue elsewhere in 2027, but have not yet disclosed its new venue; the move reflects the substantial demands the event places on the township despite its popularity.

The 2025 festival attracted more than 150,000 people, and this year’s final West Chester event begins on 6 August, with performers including Jordan Davis, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley. Township officials said the festival required significant public-safety, operational-planning and property-restoration resources, while failing to generate measurable local economic benefits sufficient to offset those impacts; organiser Further Festivals did not renew its contract beyond 2026.
