Explained simply

Powderfinger are an Australian rock band whose best-known line-up includes singer Bernard Fanning and guitarist Darren Middleton. The group formed in Brisbane in the 1980s and became one of Australia’s most popular bands, releasing albums such as Internationalist and Odyssey Number Five.

The band stopped performing together in 2010, making the planned 2027 concerts its first tour in 17 years. The reunion brings the former bandmates back on stage and gives long-time listeners a chance to hear their songs live, while also introducing the group to newer audiences.
