Metalcore artist PRESIDENT has previewed their debut album, 'Blood Of Your Empire', ahead of a cover feature in Issue 320 of Rock Sound, discussing how the rapid growth of their fanbase and the weight of expectation shaped the record's creation. The masked musician explores themes of religion, its historical manipulation for power and greed, and their own unresolved spiritual doubts, framing the album as a critique of human corruption rather than faith itself, which matters as it underpins the emotional connection driving the project's fast-growing following.

The artist explains that the album title reflects a personal struggle between belief and doubt, having previously felt "self-destructive" and self-loathing before channelling those feelings into music. Unlike the project's debut EP, written in total secrecy with no expectations, the album—led by tracks such as 'Angel Wings' and 'dark heaven'—was self-produced largely on the road while PRESIDENT supported Architects and Bad Omens on arena tours, blending metalcore, pop hooks and electronic elements.
