A previously unheard rehearsal tape recorded by Guns N' Roses 40 years ago has surfaced online, offering fans early, often markedly different, versions of tracks that would later appear on the band's landmark 1987 debut album, Appetite For Destruction. The recording is notable because it predates the polished studio versions fans know, giving a rare glimpse into how the songs evolved before release.

The 1986 tape includes early takes of Nightrain, My Michelle, Out Ta Get Me and Rocket Queen, alongside Move To The City, which later featured on the band's debut EP Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide. It was shared by an uploader known as Red's GNR Videos, who said some recordings were incomplete and claimed the tape had long been withheld by collectors within the Guns N' Roses fan community before finally being made public.
