A month after returning with its fourth season, Prime Video's animated fantasy series The Legend of Vox Machina continues to perform strongly on the platform's streaming charts, currently sitting at number ten among the most-watched TV shows in the United States. The series, praised for its characters, animation and escalating stakes across seasons, remains popular as its fifth and final season is in production, suggesting sustained fan interest heading into the conclusion.
The show is an animated adaptation of Critical Role's first campaign, originally livestreamed between 2015 and 2017, and follows the band of heroes known as Vox Machina, voiced by cast members including Laura Bailey, Liam O'Brien and Travis Willingham. Season 4 introduces a new antagonist, The Whispered One, and follows the heroes reuniting a year after Season 3's events to stop his ascension to godhood and his cult.
