Pringles is launching Dippers, a new range of thicker, wavier crisps designed to hold dips without breaking. The US launch responds to long-running customer complaints that standard Pringles are too fragile for heavier dips, while preserving the brand’s recognisable curved shape.

Dippers will be available nationwide in the US from September in Original, French Onion and Bacon Cheddar flavours. Pringles says the new scoop-like design supports both light dipping and heavier scoops; it is also expanding its puffed-snack Mingles range with a Sweet & Salty flavour.
