Gameloft has launched a specialized version of its free-to-play racing game Disney Speedstorm tailored for Nintendo Switch 2, available now on the eShop. The new edition delivers enhanced visual fidelity and performance, with support for 1440p resolution when the console is docked and smoother gameplay overall, alongside local multiplayer functionality for up to four players.

The release represents an upgrade from the original 2023 Switch version, which received mixed reception due to performance constraints. Earlier announcements had promised Switch 2 optimization including 60-frames-per-second performance and visual improvements, with existing Switch owners able to access the enhanced version through a complimentary upgrade on the eShop.
