Prescription Songs has signed two Nashville-based producer-songwriters, Rich Harris and V8 Splash, to publishing deals, while Australian company Mushroom Music Publishing has extended its partnerships with several established artists. The moves reflect ongoing activity in the music publishing sector as companies compete to sign and retain hit-making songwriters and producers.

Harris, who has worked with SZA, DJ Khaled and Sexyy Red, joins Prescription Songs through an alliance with boutique company Pray For My Haters, founded by Tony Esterly and Dave Hopper. Memphis-born producer V8 Splash, known for collaborations with Tay Money, Big Mo and K Carbon, also signed with Prescription Songs, with the deal led by A&R Kelly White. Separately, Mushroom Music Publishing renewed its ties with Amy Shark, Jack Johnson, Julia Jacklin, Lorenzo Sillitto and The Temper Trap, with co-CEO Linda Bosidis citing long-term support for songwriters as central to the company's approach.
