Quality Control co-founder Pierre "P" Thomas has been hospitalised after suffering a heart attack, with a representative confirming to Variety that he is "alive and currently hospitalized receiving medical care." The statement follows initial reports from TMZ, which said Thomas is being monitored in the intensive care unit of a Las Vegas hospital; his team has asked for privacy for him and his family while he recovers.

Thomas co-founded the Atlanta-based Quality Control in 2013 with Kevin "Coach K" Lee, building it into one of hip-hop's most influential labels and management companies, home to acts including Migos, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, City Girls and Rich the Kid, as well as numerous athlete clients. The company was acquired by Hybe America, then led by Scooter Braun, in 2023 in a deal reportedly worth around $300 million in cash and stock; Braun stepped down as Hybe America's CEO in July 2025.
