Queen’s 1986 Budapest concert, the final Queen performance filmed with Freddie Mercury, will be released in more than 2,000 cinemas from 7 October, including selected IMAX venues. The release preserves a major late-career performance by the band and adds new reflections from Brian May and Roger Taylor.

The show took place at Budapest’s Népstadion on 27 July 1986, drawing around 80,000 ticket holders and an estimated 45,000 people outside. Its 25-song set included ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Under Pressure’ and ‘Radio Ga Ga’, plus a Hungarian folk song; the 35mm footage has been restored in 4K and remixed, with home formats and CD/triple-LP releases due on 30 October.
