Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is set to appear on Celebrity Gogglebox, sharing the sofa with his longtime friend and former collaborator Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters. The appearance was confirmed on 16 July for the following night's episode of the Channel 4 reality show, which sees celebrities offer their reactions to television programmes, news broadcasts and films.

Homme and Shears have a history of musical collaboration, with Homme appearing in the video for Shears' 2018 solo track "Big Bushy Mustache" and Shears later contributing to Homme's "Desert Sessions…" project. The episode airs at 9pm BST on Friday 17 July, part of the show's eighth series, which has also featured Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder and Bez, Fearne Cotton, Martin Kemp and James Buckley. Homme's TV appearance coincides with a busy period for Queens Of The Stone Age, who have released new single "Easy Street" and are currently touring stadiums as support for System Of A Down.
