Three zombie films favoured by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Italian horror filmmaker Lucio Fulci, are now available to stream for free on Tubi and Pluto TV. Fulci, dubbed the "godfather of gore," made over 44 films across a nearly 40-year career but remains relatively obscure in America, largely owing his profile there to Tarantino's outspoken admiration and efforts to distribute his work.

Tarantino has championed Fulci's films for years, reviving 1981's The Beyond for US audiences through his Rolling Thunder distribution company and reportedly making Brad Pitt watch a 35mm print of Fulci's Zombie during the filming of Inglourious Basterds. Tarantino has also drawn direct inspiration from Fulci's work, borrowing imagery for Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 from City of the Living Dead and once considering a remake of The Psychic.
