Quentin Tarantino’s Historical Masterpiece Officially Hits Prime Video Ahead of Sequel

Collider · 3 hours ago

Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" is now available to stream on Prime Video from 25 September 2026. The release comes strategically ahead of the film's sequel, "The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth," which premieres in cinemas this November and on Netflix in December, giving viewers an opportunity to revisit the original before the follow-up arrives.

The original film, which Tarantino regards as his personal favourite, was a major critical and commercial success. It grossed over £393 million worldwide (£142.5 million in North America and £251.4 million internationally) against a budget of £90–96 million, earned an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and won three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards. The 1969-set drama stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie and has since been recognised as one of the greatest films of the 2010s and 21st century.
