Quentin Tarantino's 1996 vampire horror-comedy From Dusk Till Dawn, which he wrote, produced and starred in, is returning to streaming this month on Paramount+, giving audiences a fresh chance to revisit one of his more offbeat '90s credits. The re-release comes as interest in Tarantino's wider filmography builds ahead of The Adventures of Cliff Booth, a Netflix and IMAX spin-off of his 2019 film Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, due later this year.

From Dusk Till Dawn began as a 25-page story outline by special effects artist Robert Kurtzman, which Tarantino developed into a screenplay before handing directing duties to Robert Rodriguez, freeing him to co-star alongside George Clooney as the Gecko brothers, who become trapped in an overnight vampire siege after fleeing to Mexico. The film performed well with critics and audiences and spawned two sequels, From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money and From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter. Meanwhile, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, written by Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, sees Brad Pitt reprise his Oscar-winning role eight years on, joined by a cast including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Elizabeth Debicki, ahead of its IMAX debut on 25 November and Netflix release on 23 December.
