Quincy Tyler Bernstein Confirms Which ‘Furious’ Character Nora Is Ready To Take Down in Season 2

Collider · 3 hours ago

Actor Quincy Tyler Bernstine has discussed her role as FBI agent Nora Washington in Hulu's crime thriller "Furious," created by Liz Meriwether, following the show's finale. In the closing episode, investigators finally apprehend serial killer Catherine Grace and uncover billionaire Jay Easton's involvement in trafficking and abuse, leaving Nora's colleague, agent Alice Black, with a flash drive containing disturbing footage of victims, including herself, which Nora urges her to examine when ready.

In the interview, Bernstine described how she landed the role after a chance email from her agent shortly after admiring Meriwether's previous work, and explained that scenes such as Nora recounting the myth of Medusa and singing K-Ci & JoJo helped her find the character's voice. She also spoke about consulting real investigators to understand how they cope with the grim nature of their work, and touched on Nora's dynamic with Alice as well as her hopes for the character's development, including confronting her corrupt boss, in a potential second season.
