Afghanistan beat Ireland by three wickets in the third one-day international at Stormont, taking a 2-0 lead in their five-match series after the opening game was washed out. Rahmanullah Gurbaz's 71 anchored the run chase, extending Afghanistan's unbeaten ODI record against Ireland to eight matches, despite a much-improved batting display from the hosts.

Ireland were bowled out for 206, with captain Cade Carmichael top-scoring on 32 as Rashid Khan and AM Ghazanfar each took three wickets. In reply, Afghanistan reached 207-7 in 44.5 overs, with Gurbaz striking five sixes and two fours before falling to Gavin Hoey, who finished with four wickets; Rashid's unbeaten 37 ultimately guided the visitors to victory. The two sides meet again at Stormont on Wednesday.
