Actresses Rain Spencer and Ariana Greenblatt have joined the cast of 'Little Five,' a feature film from Anne Hathaway's production banner Somewhere Pictures alongside Pigasus Pictures. Director Ian Samuels will lead the project from a screenplay by Gillian Williams and Paul Shoulberg, bringing together Spencer, who gained prominence through her lead role in Amazon's 'The Summer I Turned Pretty,' and Greenblatt, recognised for her work in 'Barbie.'

Set during the early 1980s at Indiana University and inspired by the real Little 500 bicycle race, the film chronicles four unlikely young women who band together to pursue an ambitious goal within one of America's most storied collegiate sporting competitions. Rooted in historical events, the narrative explores how these athletes discover that meaningful achievement requires collective effort and that transforming institutional traditions often begins with unity and determination.
