Rainn Wilson Voices New Zealand Rom-Com Series ‘Settling’

Deadline · 2 hours ago

Rainn Wilson, best known for playing Dwight Schrute in the US version of The Office, is providing voiceover narration for Settling, a new rom-com series produced in New Zealand. The show will air on Sky New Zealand's free channel Three and its streaming service ThreeNow, marking a notable international voice talent addition to a local production.

Settling is described as a comedy-drama following two disillusioned people in their thirties, played by Hannah Marshall and Pax Assadi, who honour a platonic marriage pact they made as teenagers to meet family and societal expectations. Marshall and Assadi also wrote the series, which is produced by South Pacific Pictures, now part of Banijay following its merger with All3Media. All3Media International holds international distribution rights, and executives from both South Pacific Pictures and Sky New Zealand praised the show's blend of universal rom-com appeal and distinctive New Zealand humour.
