Rams superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett will play against Commanders
Myles Garrett is set to return for the Los Angeles Rams against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, after head coach Sean McVay said he would be activated from injured reserve. His return could strengthen a defence hit by a string of injuries as the Rams try to improve their record.
Garrett, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, has been out for more than eight weeks after microscopic surgery on his left knee, following the Rams’ season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Australia. The team has also lost cornerback Jaylin Watson for the season, while defensive tackle Poona Ford and linebacker Kobie Turner are injured; wide receiver Davante Adams is on injured reserve with a ruptured hamstring. Los Angeles is seeking to move above .500 for the first time this season.
