Rangers sign ‘huge potential’ in Partizan captain Dragojevic
Rangers have signed 20-year-old Serbia midfielder Vanja Dragojevic from Partizan Belgrade for an undisclosed fee. The Partizan captain has agreed a four-year contract, with an option for a further year, and manager Derek McInnes said his leadership and potential made him an exciting addition to the Scottish Premiership side.
Dragojevic joined Partizan’s youth system in 2021 and became a regular starter last season, scoring four goals and registering four assists in 41 appearances as the club finished third in Serbia. Primarily a defensive midfielder, he has two international caps and previously faced Hibernian in Conference League qualifying; his reported Partizan release clause had been £12.75m.
