Coca-Cola-owned Fairlife has temporarily halted production at its US dairy plants after a ransomware attack affected part of its systems, including production-related systems. The disruption matters because Fairlife makes widely sold ultra-filtered milk and protein shakes, although the company says product quality and safety have not been affected.

Coca-Cola disclosed the incident in an SEC filing, saying it activated incident-response and business-continuity plans, hired external cybersecurity specialists and informed law enforcement. Canadian facilities remain operational, while the company investigates and restores systems; it has not yet identified the attackers, confirmed data theft, or determined whether the event will materially affect its business.
