Producer Raw and New Yorker Studios are developing an untitled limited series revisiting the 1985 White House Farm killings, drawing on new evidence that could overturn Jeremy Bamber's murder conviction after 40 years. The project, from showrunner Emilia di Girolamo, follows fresh investigative reporting by New Yorker journalist Heidi Blake, and matters because it aims to move beyond the familiar retelling of the case towards material that could challenge the safety of Bamber's conviction, potentially exposing the longest wrongful imprisonment in English legal history if he is exonerated.

Bamber was convicted of murdering his adoptive parents, his sister and her six-year-old twin sons, and has always maintained his innocence; the case was previously dramatised by ITV in 2020 with Freddie Fox in the lead role. The new series will incorporate evidence uncovered in Blake's 2024 New Yorker investigation and her 2025 podcast Blood Relatives, part of the Pulitzer-winning In the Dark series, which drew on hundreds of thousands of evidence files largely unseen by the original jury. Casting has yet to be confirmed, Raw is in talks with broadcasters, and executive producers include Sam Tipper-Hale, Dimitri Doganis, Helen Estabrook, Sarah Patzer, Blake and di Girolamo.
