Folk singer Ray LaMontagne was treated by medics after collapsing on stage at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium during a concert on 5 September 2026. The incident happened partway through his song 'Jolene', with fan-shot footage showing him falling backwards before being helped off stage, bringing the show to an early end. His management confirmed he was being treated for heat-related dehydration, with several attendees noting the venue had been particularly warm that night.

Earlier in the same set, LaMontagne had twice lost his place while performing 'Hannah', apologising to the audience before continuing, and briefly left the stage before returning for 'Jolene'. His team said he was in the care of local EMS and "doing well", and he went on to perform as scheduled at the Louisville Palace the following night. The Nashville date was part of his 'Trouble' 20th Anniversary Tour, marking his 2004 debut album, with support from The Weather Station and further dates planned in cities including Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, Portland and New York.
