Razer has launched the Prio, a small, foldable mobile gaming controller that attaches directly to a phone via USB-C. It is aimed at mobile gamers who want console-quality controls in a highly portable form, folding flat when not in use so it can easily fit in a pocket. This matters as it marks Razer's entry into a new product line dedicated to ultra-portable controllers, signalling further releases in this category.

The Prio works with both iOS and Android devices and fits phones up to seven inches, including large handsets such as the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. It features a tactile four-way D-pad, face buttons, bumpers, triggers and capacitive analogue thumbsticks designed to resist drift, with USB-C connectivity meaning no separate battery is needed. It supports native mobile games as well as cloud services including Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play and Razer's own PC Remote Play, and is available now priced at $100.
