Razer has launched two lower-priced gaming keyboards using magnetic Hall effect switches: the $120 Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic Mini and $140 Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic Tenkeyless. They bring advanced competitive-gaming controls previously associated with more expensive models to a broader market, intensifying competition with specialist brands such as Wooting, Asus and SteelSeries.

Both wired keyboards offer adjustable actuation points, Rapid Trigger, an 8KHz polling rate and claimed average latency of 0.6ms, compared with 0.48ms for Razer’s optical Huntsman V3 Pro boards. They also support custom movement-input features including Snap Tap, which Valve has banned over cheating concerns, while the new models cost substantially less than optical Huntsman Pro keyboards starting at $220 and roughly $60 less than comparable Wooting products.
