Andy Burrows, drummer for the reunited Razorlight, has announced a new solo album entitled 'Map Of The World', scheduled for release on 29 January 2027 via his own Free Pass Records label. This marks his first solo album in seven years, following his 2019 collaboration with author Matt Haig. The album signals Burrows' continued creative ambitions beyond his work with Razorlight and his prolific film and television scoring career.

Recorded primarily at his home studio in Gloucestershire and written entirely by Burrows, the album features notable collaborators including Editors frontman Tom Smith, Manic Street Preachers bassist Nicky Wire, We Are Scientists guitarist Keith Murray, and family members. The lead single 'Nothing Matters Anyway' showcases 1970s-influenced instrumentation and layered vocal harmonies, with Burrows framing its message as liberating rather than cynical—a commentary on society's preoccupation with social media and public perception. The album also includes 'Seriously', reuniting Burrows with Smith, with whom he has released two previous collaborative albums.
