Developing story first seen 4 hours ago
Prime Video has released the first official trailer for "Neagley," a spin-off of its hit thriller series "Reacher," unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con alongside a preview of the parent show. The spin-off gives a starring role to Maria Sten, reprising her supporting "Reacher" character, and represents Prime Video's effort to expand a franchise that helped establish Alan Ritchson as a leading man while remaining faithful to Lee Child's novels.
The series follows Neagley, a former member of the 110th Special Investigators unit, as she works as a private investigator in Chicago and launches a dangerous investigation after a close friend dies in a suspicious accident. It is set to premiere on 16 September, with Ritchson also appearing briefly in the trailer to link the spin-off to the original show. The tone is described as similar to "Reacher" but with added flair, positioning "Neagley" as a companion piece to the main series.
