‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson Is Ready for Revenge in 1 Week
Alan Ritchson, star of Prime Video's Reacher, is set to headline a new action-thriller that premieres next week, capping a significant few days for the actor. He has also just been announced as the lead of Maelstrom, an upcoming Netflix film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, with the pair having previous streaming hits to their names.
Collet-Serra's Carry-On is Netflix's third most-watched original film with 172 million views, while Ritchson's War Machine ranks ninth with nearly 140 million views; a War Machine sequel is also confirmed. Before that, Ritchson will star in a separate action film that premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in 2025 and is now due for release. Reacher, which has run for three seasons with a fourth and spin-off Neagley in production, helped propel Ritchson to roles in the Fast and Furious franchise and Guy Ritchie's The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
