Carrie Underwood featured on Aerosmith’s 2012 song “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You”, from the band’s album *Music From Another Dimension!*. The collaboration reflected Underwood’s longstanding enthusiasm for rock music and gave Aerosmith’s country-leaning track a fitting guest vocalist, linking two artists whose work has crossed country and rock boundaries.

The song was written by Steven Tyler, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, Brad Whitford and Marti Frederiksen, and appeared on Aerosmith’s 15th studio album, their latest to date. Tyler said the band had not initially written it for Underwood, but invited her at short notice while she was in town; she recorded her part before leaving the next day. Underwood had previously performed with Tyler at the 2011 ACM Awards, while Tyler later released a country solo album in 2016.
