American Songwriter ·

Frank Sinatra’s 1993 album *Duets* paired him with U2’s Bono on “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”, bringing together two singers from very different musical worlds. The single reached the UK top five and was Sinatra’s last successful release to radio.

Sound engineer John Palladino recalled that Sinatra made 22 takes, though he thought only four or five were complete; later artists including the Four Seasons, Michael Bublé and Diana Krall also covered it.
