Remi Wolf has released her new single 'Twiggy', marking her first new music in two years and following a surprise live debut of the track during Hayley Williams' Newport Folk Festival set last weekend. Written during a retreat in Big Bear, California with close collaborators after a long stretch of touring, the song sees the Palo Alto artist embrace what she calls her "emo as fuck" side, offering some of her most confronting and emotionally raw work to date.

Wolf has described the song as being about partners who "lack both butts and emotional availability", and possibly touching on "the messiness of addiction", saying the writing process felt newly honest. 'Twiggy' follows her 2021 album 'Juno' and 2024's genre-melding breakout 'Big Ideas', with Wolf having played major festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza and toured with Paramore, Lorde and Olivia Rodrigo. She also recently made her acting debut in Amazon Prime Video's 'Off Campus'.
