Remi Wolf has released “Twiggy”, her first new solo music in two years, following her 2024 album Soup. The single marks a stylistic shift towards country-inflected pop while retaining elements of the glitchy sound associated with her recent work, and arrives after live performances of the track at Newport Folk Festival.

Wolf wrote the song after stepping back from extensive touring and attending a writing retreat in Big Bear, where she said she felt able to be more emotionally direct. Produced with regular collaborators Solomonophonic, Paul Cherry, Jamie McLaughlin and Jack DeMeo, “Twiggy” addresses personal subjects including addiction and family issues; its accompanying video features mud wrestling, Ugg boots and unsettling models in woodland settings.
