Nintendo has released a physical Switch 2 edition of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, following its surprise digital launch in June. The release matters because Nintendo’s staggered mix of digital and physical launches for the Xenoblade trilogy has been unclear, and it gives collectors and new players a boxed option on the newer console.

The physical edition costs £58.99 in the UK and $69.99 in the US, although some retailers may charge less. It includes 60fps performance, improved visuals, the Ether Jet traversal feature and Nopon GP racing mode; Xenoblade Chronicles 2 arrives digitally today and physically on 1 October, while Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is due in December.
