REPENTANCE Shares Third Single ‘Among The Wolves’ From Upcoming ‘Retaliate’ Album
Chicago groove metal band REPENTANCE has released “Among The Wolves”, the third single from its forthcoming album “Retaliate”. The album is due on 27 November through Noble Demon, and the release comes as the band continues to honour founding member Shaun Glass, who died unexpectedly in July.
Vocalist Adam Gilley says the song deals with betrayal, anger and disillusionment after deep emotional hurt. The album’s release was moved from summer to late November following Glass’s death; it was produced by Alex Lackner and mixed by Ari Mihalopoulos. Glass had spent more than four decades in the Chicago metal scene, with credits including BROKEN HOPE and SOIL, and the band has dedicated the earlier single “Fade Into Silence” to him.
