Titan Manga will publish Resident Evil: Death Island Vol. 1, a manga adaptation of the 2023 animated film in which major series characters unite to investigate a bioterror outbreak on Alcatraz Island. The release extends the story into print for Western readers and forms part of Capcom’s continuing expansion of the Resident Evil franchise across media.

Illustrated by ZINO, the 224-page black-and-white collection was previously serialised on Kadokawa’s Comic Hu platform and will be released in the West on 29 September for $12.99. Its plot brings Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield and Rebecca Chambers together after separate investigations in San Francisco lead to Alcatraz; the original CG film remains available digitally and on DVD and Blu-ray.
