Rian Johnson’s New Apple Project Has Officially Conquered the Global Top 10
Rian Johnson’s Chromagraph Camera app has reached number one in Apple’s US Photo & Video chart and topped the overall paid-app rankings. Its success brings film-inspired image-making to iPhone users, using techniques developed for Johnson’s films.
The $12.99 app was made with cinematographer Steve Yedlin and programmer Eric Cameron. It captures RAW image data and processes it independently of Apple’s automatic image adjustments, with controls for colour, contrast, texture, grain and halation.
