Ridley Scott’s $350M Horror Blockbuster Is Officially Free To Stream

Ridley Scott’s 2001 thriller Hannibal is now available to stream free with adverts on Pluto TV, Tubi and The Roku Channel. The development makes the commercially successful sequel to The Silence of the Lambs more easily accessible as Scott prepares to return to science fiction with The Dog Stars.

Starring Anthony Hopkins and Gary Oldman, Hannibal was made for $87 million and earned about $351 million worldwide, making it one of Scott’s biggest box-office hits. Adapted from Thomas Harris’s novel, the film was scripted by David Mamet and Steven Zaillian; Scott did not direct the following prequel, Red Dragon.
