POISON drummer Rikki Rockett said the band’s success stemmed from the contrasting personalities and complementary musical styles of its four members. He argued that the group’s chemistry could not be manufactured, describing its appeal as the result of combining their genuine attitudes, influences and ambitions.

Rockett highlighted C.C. DeVille’s energetic playing, Bobby Dall’s steadiness and Bret Michaels’ showmanship, saying DeVille’s arrival completed the band’s sound. He also discussed performing POISON’s debut album, *Look What the Cat Dragged In*, with THE ROCKETT MAFIA, and said audiences had responded positively; he is considering future shows focused entirely on deeper cuts.
