Riley Green Buys a Guitar off Facebook Marketplace—and Arrives To Pick It up Himself
Country singer Riley Green surprised Florida business owner Shane Allen by personally collecting a guitar Allen had listed on Facebook Marketplace. Allen said Green could have sent someone else, but instead met him himself, making the sale feel more meaningful and prompting them to take a photograph together.
The guitar was a Gibson J-45, which Allen said he had been reluctant to sell. The purchase came while Green is on his Cowboy As It Gets Tour, due to end on 22 August, ahead of his 19-track album That’s Just Me on 18 September and his planned debut as a coach on season 30 of The Voice.
