Rival Sons frontman Jay Buchanan has announced his first solo tour of the United States, a run of acoustic shows under the name "Storyteller". The announcement follows three Weapons of Beauty solo dates he played in New York and Nashville in February, marking a continuation of what he describes as an organically evolving solo venture separate from his work with Rival Sons.

The tour begins on 11 September at The Secret Group in Houston, Texas, and concludes on 18 October at the Valley Bar in Phoenix, Arizona. Tickets go on sale on 14 August. The solo dates precede Rival Sons' previously announced Domestic Bliss tour, which starts in late October with support from Canadian duo The Blue Stones and a Colorado rock'n'roll act.
