Riverdale’s 100-Year-Old Cult Officially Sends Archie Straight to Hell in New Release

Archie Andrews is transported to colonial Riverdale in the second issue of *Archie in Hell*, after the first revealed that a secret cult had manipulated the town for a century and planned to use him as a sacrifice. The time-travel setting brings witchcraft fears and suspicion into Archie’s latest supernatural adventure.

The series is part of a publishing partnership between Archie Comics and Oni Press, with Patrick Horvath writing and Tyler Crook illustrating. Issue #2 is due in comic shops on 16 December 2026; the first issue is available now.
